Wow. I just realized that I have kind of neglected this blog for a while. I haven’t written in it for over 2 and a half months. That’s crazy! New Years is coming up, and with that brings the rush of New Years Resolutions. What are we going to do? My resolution (the only one I have at the moment) is to write more in this blog. Now I know that a lot of people don’t read this, but I don’t care if they do or don’t. It’s a place for me to write down my thoughts and then be able to look at them later.

Something's coming! Something good!
Hey there! I wanted to share something happening this weekend (tomorrow, actually), that I am very excited about. It’s an event called Halloween Doors & More that I am volunteering for. It’s such a great event, and I am so happy to be a part of it. What is it, you ask? Let me tell you.
Halloween Doors & More is a charity Halloween fundraising gala to benefit Northeast Florida’s Community Hospice’s PedsCare (Pediatric Hospice) program. At the event, they have a series of decorated doors. Kids go around to each door and get a toy from a character or, in the case of the Fire Engine door, a firefighter. There’s also a fun disco area, a theater where shows are put on over the course of the event, a salon where kids can have wacky things done to their hair, and a wide variety of other fun areas. Another cool thing is that there are characters, such as some of your favorite Disney princesses, all around the event, which the kids get to meet, get autographs from, and take pictures with. Tickets are $100 per adult, and $50 per child. The kids who receive PedsCare’s services get to attend the event with their families for free. It’s definitely a big fundraiser for PedsCare, as last year’s event raised over half of PedsCare’s operating costs for the entire year. Last night was the opening night party (for adults only) and, if tomorrow is anything like last night’s event, then tomorrow is going to be AWESOME! I know that tomorrow’s event is going to be even better, because tomorrow we get to see the kids!
What did I volunteer to do for tomorrow? I volunteered to be a character. What character did they place me as? Snow White! It’s going to be an honor to get to bring to life my most favorite Disney princess of ALL TIME! I can’t wait to see the look on some of the children’s faces when they meet her. I’m sure they’ll have lots of stuff to tell her. And do you want to know what’s going to make it more fun? I get a prince! So stoked, and I hope we get along really well together. I hope he’s not afraid to pretend like we really are prince and princess. It’s going to be so cute!

My first post!
Hey guys. It's Kendall here. I've always wanted to start a blog, but never really actually got around to doing it. But here it is. I'm finally starting one. Have you ever had that feeling where you just want to vent, or that you just want a place where you can talk about all of the exciting things going on in your life? Well that, my friends, is why I want to create this blog. I don't expect anyone to read this, but it's just a place for me to collect my thoughts. Enjoy!
